Camponotus gigas from Lanjak
Can you the bright yellow femur of this C. gigas from Lanjak Entimau? In many parts of Sabah and other places, femur of this species is normally dark brown.
that certainly loks very interesting. could it be a newly discovered subspecies of C.gigas? that would be verrrryyy cool to be the first person to document it.
This warrants further looks - how many specimens you got from Lanjak? Take it from me... do not believe a population of a single species when the geographical distribution is too large... especially for creatures that small!
